1. Event Plan: As you know, GovLoop celebrates its one year anniversary this summer. An event will be implemented, so we need a plan! Please work together to create a single plan – PR professionals must work as a team, so get your heads together and start brainstorming.
- What’ll you need? Well…date, time, location, detailed timeline, creative ideas, strategic partnerships, budget, assigned tasks, event layout/map, invites (who and how) and more!
- This event will take place the week of June 15, 2009, in Washington, D.C.
2. News Release on “Award Wins”: No teamwork on this one. GovLoop was recently honored, and we need to spread the word. Please draft a news release to include the facts e-mailed to you this week.

- News appeal
- Factual accuracy
- AP Stylishness
