THE CLIENT

GovLoop.com is a Ning-based social network, developed by 28-year-old federal employee, Steve Ressler. Positioned in the center of government’s current Web 2.0 revolution, GovLoop offers a safe place for the government community to collaborate on shared concerns, best practices and generate ideas to improve the inner workings of the system. This social network is smashing the age-old silos that exist between government agencies and facilitating dialogue among federal, state and local government employees.

GovLoop recently celebrated its 10,000th member, and The PR Apprentice Season Two Interns will develop and implement both public relations and social media tactics to enlarge GovLoop’s member base and increase the awareness and purpose of the social network.
